Youth Lacrosse Information

Spring 2026 season registration is now open

  • Summit Youth Lacrosse is currently serving boys lacrosse in grades 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8 within the Summit High School district boundaries. We anticipate starting the week of March 9th:

    • 5/6 & 7/8 teams will practice 3 times per week at Cascades Academy or Pacific Crest Middle School football field.

    • 3/4 team will practice 2 times per week at Cascades Academy or Discovery Park.

  • The season will run from early March to early June. We play similar level teams from around the state and multiple tournaments, some travel is required. 

    • Games: Expect a couple of mid-week local games and away games that typically occur on a Saturday.

    • Tournaments:

      • Lax Jam (April 4th in PDX)

      • SALI (May 2nd/3rd in Sisters)

      • Likely 1 - 2 additional tournaments opportunities in Oregon or Washington

      • Timing: We work closely with organizers of away games and tournaments for later game start times due to our travel needs. Often, we can travel up on a Saturday AM, overnight for a single night and complete the tournament on Sunday.

  • Depending on team interest, a waitlist may be used to accommodate additional registrations.

    • Please register on the waitlist if you are interested in participating. We will run two (2) teams if we have appropriate numbers. We will contact you with additional information as the season approaches.

  • Cost (excluding travel and required USA Lacrosse membership):

  • $250: 3/4 team.

    • Full fee required at registration

    • USA Lacrosse membership is required ($30)

  • $400: 5/6 teams 

    • Full fee required at registration

    • USA Lacrosse membership is required ($30)

  • $400: 7/8 team

    • Full fee required at registration

    • USA Lacrosse membership is required ($30)

  • Players must provide their own equipment; see our equipment page for details.

  • We offer a 25% sibling discount for families with more than one player in the program. 

  • Parent information night

    • A parent information night will be held to provide more information on the Summit Youth Lacrosse program including schedule, equipment requirements, player evaluations, program vision along with a Q & A session with Summit coaches.

    • The date/time and location for the information night will be shared with Summit families via email.

  • The Summit Youth Store is coming soon!

  • Financial Assistance

    • Summit Youth Lacrosse strives to provide an affordable sports experience for all participants. SYL aims to offer some financial aid to players who demonstrate need. Email youth@summitboyslacrosse.com to request financial assistance.

Summer Lacrosse:

Excel Lacrosse will field youth summer teams in Summer 2026. We will play in 3 or 4 tournaments; 2 local & 2 travel. Twice a week practices at a local field in June & July, qualified coaching from the Summit staff and current college players.
